Risa Wanibuchi is a singer, a personality. She is an only daughter of Tad Wakamatsu, a photographer, and Haruko Wanibuchi, an acttor. She was taught violin and piano in her early childhood by Kenshu Wanibuchi, her grandfather, a concertmaster of NHK Symphony Orchestra. She graduated Vocal Music course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. Right after she graduated the college, she moved to Germany, and then graduated Bachelor and Master course of Vocal Performance at Hochschule für Musik Köln. She had worked as a soloist at Kammeroper Koeln from 2007 to 2010, as a singer of ensemble at Theater Aachen from 2011 to 2014. Now she lives in Japan and actively works as a singer. She studies with Kenshu Wanibuchi, Toshiko Toda, Elly Ameling, Elena Obraztsova, Josef Protschka, Helmut Kretschmar.

As an opera singer
She performed some roles: Pamina and Papagena in an opera Zauberfloete mainly at Kammeroper Koeln, Stadttheater Hanau, Stadttheater Lindau, Laura in Bettelstudent Operret, Adele in Fledermaus, Eurideice in Orphee aux Enfers, Fee in Die Schneekoenigin, She also performed a role Zerlina in Don Giovanni at Theater Aachen, and she signed to perform as an ensemble singer. Moreover, she performed Pamina in Zauberfloete at Austria Sommer Festival in Bruck.
As an operetta singer
She had regularly performed at Operetten Gala Concert at Baalsaal Aachen.
As a concert singer
She performed Japanese traditional music at Austria Salzburgerfestspieil, and had actively performed at concerts in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, and other European countries.
As a musical singer
She performed as a hero Mona Lisa in a musical, Da vinci Wind of light, which is a Japan and France joint hosting memorial event of millennium year. The presentation was shown in the France embassy in Minami-Azabu, and later it was performed at Casino de Paris in Paris.

She performed at an opening act of Ethan Bortnick Japan tour at Akasaka BLITZ, a live concert at Mt.Rainier Hall SHIBUYA PLEASURE PLEASURE, an event of Porsche, a Yumi Katsura’s fashion show.

She appeared in Rotte’s advertisement about advertising high quality chocolate called “Tiramisù Chocolate” aired mainly on TV. She performed as a narrator in some traveling TV programs.
With her mother, Haruko Wanibuchi, she appeared on TV program, Tetsuko Kuroyanagi’s talk show. Also she appeared and showed her cooking skill with her mother on TV program called “Just”.
Her music was played in a figure skate event held by TBS, a TV station.
She appeared on NHK TV “Television de Doitsu-go (German language)”, aired in 2015; on BS Nippon, “Ichioshi! 2 haku 3 ka no tabi (3 days trip)”, and “Jinsei ga kawaru fukaii hanashi”aired in 2016.
She speaks several languages: fluent German speaker, average English and Italian speaker. Writing music and words in French, German, and Italian. She plays piano since her childhood. She cooks even bread from scratch. She also makes accessories.
